Writers Workshop: Revised

Announcing changes to our format...

Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Hello, writers!

Just wanted to give you a heads-up that time is running out to sign up for the Novel-in-Progress course being taught at Grub Street's South Shore location, Buttonwood Books in Cohasset (on Rt. 3A). The instructor is novelist Lynne Griffin, author of Life Without Summer, Sea Escape, and the upcoming The Day We Drowned.

This is the course Heather and I have been raving about, and three other NRAS Writers Workshop members have also enjoyed it. It starts this coming Monday, April 4. If you're working on a novel -- no matter what stage you're at -- it's an incredibly helpful, motivating, and supportive experience. Each week, we learn about/review a different element of craft and then critique classmates' pages. Lynne is an amazing instructor who possesses a wealth of knowledge about writing and the publishing process (which she shares generously).

If you have questions or would like to hear more about it, please feel free to e-mail me Jen_McInerney@yahoo.com or Heather at heather@tillybud.com.

Thanks, and have a great day!
